Does any of it matter? This song (and this album, really) reflect a new Josh, unburdened by what has been. We are bombarded by so many messages day-to-day, how do you know what does and doesn’t matter? I started with two lines: “When every word’s been said before / and every feeling felt before,” and the song grew from there.
